Dr. Morris started the Analytics and Data Warehousing research service at IDC, and coined the term "analytic applications" in 1997. He has published research on enterprise information portals and the requirements for unified access to structured and unstructured data. He Chairs the Applications Track where he offers insights into the next genration of applications and investment priorities.
